Spring in the country as the wild flowers begin their bloom is stunning. Fences keep herds of cattle inside rolling hills. Here they enjoy the tastiness of the fresh grasses, poppies, lupins, and a multitude of flowers that begin to cluster on the hills under the rugged scrub oaks.
Yet, a closer look, as was pointed out to me, is that a delightful squirrel, though small, is sitting on the fence in plain sight. A surprise to add to the picture.
